Alan Neale & Friends Complete Endurance Cycle Ride in Memory of Sian and to Raise over £3,000 for Clear Cell Sarcoma Research
Alan Neale, Paul Stephens and Phil Goodman completed their gruelling 2-day marathon cycle ride over the weekend of the 19th and 20th July. Alan and Phil cycled 103 miles through the counties of Hertfordshire, Essex and Suffolk and then back through Cambridgeshire to finished at Wimpole Hall.
Paul wasn’t able to join Alan and Phil on their trip, so cycled the same distance around his home in Surrey.
For such a dry summer they were so unlucky to pick the one weekend when it poured with rain almost non stop, which made the challenge even more difficult.
Alan, Paul and Stephen raised over £3,000 (with gift aid) for Clear Cell Sarcoma research. Alan also gave two interviews to BBC 3-Counties Radio and did an amazing job of both raising the awareness of Clear Cell Sarcoma and the profile of the Foundation. You can hear one of these interview by clicking on the link below.
We would like to thank Alan, Phil and Paul for their heroic efforts and to congratulate them on their achievement.
