WHY THE FOUNDATION EXISTS?

The Edward Showler Foundation was set up by Ed's family and friends with the aim to make a difference to young people, like Ed and their families, who have been diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma and to try and do some good in his name.

Ed was a gifted young doctor with an amazing career ahead of him. He had just started his specialist training in Haematology at the Royal Free Hospital in London when, at the age of 27, he was diagnosed with metastatic Clear Cell Sarcoma. He died 8 months after his diagnosis.

The Edward Showler Foundation initially sought to raise £1,000,000, most of which is being spent on researching the causes, drivers and treatment of Clear Cell Sarcoma. We have raised over £1,000,000 but are seeking to raise another £1,000,000, so we need all the help you can offer.
