Battle Cancer London Raise nearly £1,000 to remember Sharni and to raise funds for Clear Cell Sarcoma Research

On the 15th October athletes descended on London Olympia for a day of fitness competitions as part of Battle Cancer Day.

Two teams were raising funds for the Edward Showler Foundation and to remember Sharni Rumming, who was a fitness instructor in Wandsworth and tragically died from Clear Cell Sarcoma in April 2023.

The money raised will go towards funding research on Clear Cell Sarcoma so that others will have treatment options and hopefully a cure, which was something that Sharni and all the other patients with the disease, do not have at present.

With Gift Aid the teams were able to raise nearly £1,000.
