Canoeing the Longest Lake & Climbing the Highest Peak for Clear Cell Sarcoma

Matt and Simon Robinson to canoe the longest lake and climb the highest peak in England to raise funds to help cure Clear Cell Sarcoma

Matt and Simon Robinson are taking on a huge challenge this summer and would like you to sponsor them.

The brothers, 55 and 53 respectively, are aiming to raise £2,000 for the Edward Showler Foundation. The Foundation seeks to find a cure for Clear Cell Sarcoma – a rare type of cancer that mainly affects young adults in their 20s and 30s. On Saturday 10th August 2024 Matt and Simon will attempt to canoe the longest lake in England, climb the highest mountain, and cycle everything in between. Their route will take in the full 11 miles of Lake Windermere, a 16 mile cycle ride over the notorious (and very steep!) Hardknott and Wrynose passes and a climb to the top of Scafell Pike from sea level – all within 12 gruelling hours.
