Chris completes the first of the 12 Half-Marathons he is undertaking in 2026 in Marrakesh

Chris Wheatley completed the first of the 12 half-marathons he is running in 2026 - one every month - to raise funds for Clear Cell Sarcoma research and to remember Sharni Ruming, who tragically died of Clear Cell Sarcoma in 2023 at the age of 30.

Sharni was an inspirational trainer and close friend of Chris and would have been proud of what he is trying to achieve.

Chris completed the race in 1 hour 52 minutes and with Gift Aid raised over £1,500! Well done Chris and thank you for taking on such a great challenge!
