Chris Wheatley’s Half Marathon Challenge for 2026 to Remember Sharni and to Raise Funds to Clear Cell Sarcoma Research

Chris Wheatley will be running a half marathon every month in 2026 in memory of Sharni Ruming and to raise funds for Clear Cell Sarcoma research.

Chris says, “I first met Sharni whilst she was a trainer at F45; she was always fun, friendly and supportive. But she had drive and strongly encouraged people out of their comfort zones. We became good friends and trained together a lot, most memorably during COVID times outside in her building's car park. I am proud to have known her and to call her my friend.”

Sharni tragically was diagnosed with Clear Cell Sarcoma but sadly died on the 27th April 2023. There were no treatments available that could save her life, which is why we need research so that patients diagnosed with this terrible disease can be offered treatment and a cure.
