The UK arm of the trial of the immunotherapy drug tebentafusp, for metastatic Clear Cell Sarcoma patients, has opened at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Tebentafusp is a T-cell immunotherapy drug specifically targeting a cell protein called gp100. Tebentafusp can only bind to cancer cells in patients who have a specific genetic marker (HLA subtype
HLA-A*02:01), which will be tested upon recruitment to the trial.
If you are a clear cell sarcoma patient with metastatic disease then please contact Ed’s Foundation on info@edwardshowlerfoundation.com or call on 07740 871683 so that we can refer you to the Royal Marsden or contact the trial lead directly on andrea.napolitano@rmh.nhs.uk
